Simply Human by Stephen Brigidi, Bristol Workshops
As a human services provider, we know there are a lot of misperceptions about people who are experiencing homelessness.
So we were intrigued when local portrait photographer Stephen Brigidi from Bristol Workshops volunteered to photograph several dozen of our clients as part of a project he is working on called Simply Human.
In Simply Human, Stephen explores his own biases while capturing the images and voices of marginalized people like the clients Crossroads serves.
Homelessness is something that happens to good people and I would like to give voice to such people, by working together in making a photograph and combining their words.
