Crossroads RI Awarded $5M from Bezos Day 1 Families Fund

Crossroads Rhode Island is thrilled to once again be one of the organizations across the country recognized by the Bezos Family Foundation to receive a $5,000,000 Day 1 Families Fund grant. As we continue in our needle-moving work to end homelessness for families in Rhode Island, we could not be more excited to now be a two-time recipient of this award.

The Bezos Day 1 Families Fund issues annual leadership awards to organizations and civic groups doing compassionate work to help families experiencing homelessness regain safe, stable housing and achieve well-being.

Crossroads plans to utilize the funds from the grant to significantly reduce the number of families experiencing homelessness in Rhode Island by developing more family housing and expanding programs and services designed to help families end their homelessness as quickly as possible. This will allow us to continue our mission of ensuring that every family in the state of Rhode Island has a safe place to call home.
