At Crossroads, we encounter resilient people every single day.
Take Christina for example. She is a hardworking mother of two who, like many Rhode Islanders, struggles to make ends meet. Unfortunately, her landlord doubled her rent, and she could no longer afford her apartment. After staying with friends for a while, she finally ran out of options and turned to Crossroads for help. She was not looking for an easy way out, but needed somewhere to turn.
When someone is experiencing homelessness, they are probably facing the lowest point in their life. These are our fellow Rhode Islanders who are doing everything they can to make ends meet despite overwhelming challenges.

Assist 2x as many students in our Learning Center earn their GEDs or learn new computer skills to help them secure jobs.

Helps provide double the number of people with shelter, meals, and laundry services on their journey to a permanent home.
