Though 2020 proved to be a challenging year in our community, your support of Crossroads helped individuals and families in need stay safe, healthy and housed during the pandemic.
February 17, 2021
As we begin a new year, many of us look back on 2020 with a new awareness of the fragility and vulnerability of what it means to be human. The most basic of human needs: food, shelter, personal security, employment, and health were suddenly as risk for people in all sectors of society. At Crossroads, the safety net we provide was stretched to new levels.
This historic combination of crisis and need presented many challenges. While many members of our community struggled with housing insecurity long before 2020, the pandemic has left even more individuals and families vulnerable. Thankfully, our community and donors like you responded with unprecedented generosity!
It rings true that the worst of times can bring out the best in people. And we are so grateful to you for truly making a difference.
