At Crossroads, we offer programs like basic needs, case management, housing, emergency shelter, education & employment services and more to provide our clients with the essential tools they need to overcome their homelessness.
Housing
At Crossroads, we know that housing is the only solution for ending homelessness. We own over 370 residences across Rhode Island to accommodate a variety of households, including:
- Single adults
- Adult couples without children
- Families with children
- Formerly homeless adults (age 50+)
Emergency Shelter
We offer families and individuals who are experiencing homelessness emergency shelter that is safe, respectful and effective. We operate multiple shelters to best serve the specific and diverse needs of our clients.

- Men's Shelter
- Domestic Violence Program
Education & Employment
Our Education & Employment programs give our clients the tools they need to increase their earned income, which is critical to maintaining stable housing. Our Education & Employment Services team provides individualized, trauma-informed adult education and job training to help homeless and at-risk individuals achieve self-sufficiency.
Our program offerings include:
- GED preparation & basic adult education classes
- Certified Nursing Assistant Training
- Employment resource center & pre-employment training
- Financial literacy
